IT'S NOT ENOUGH !!

On February 18, 2008 was our JS Prom. As a senior it was my second time to attend with that kind of special event.

For me it was so memorable. I have not only dance but also sang because I’ am a member of our school combo. The teachers also selected me as a part of the cotillion and I’ve enjoyed it although it was very tiring. During the dance, I ‘am not comfortable is it because the space was not enough for us to dance as we want. Some guys, who offered me a dance, gave me flowers. Wow! What a nice feeling!! I have also enjoyed watching the Mr. and Ms. JS 2008. We have cheered our two classmates who represented our section. Chuckie Reboroso and Vaughn Margaux Versoza.

At 9:00 pm, the affair was over and the dance was stopped. I hate it ! Because the time again was not enough !!!

JOB WELL DONE!

We are now on the last topic for our final grading period. And for me, the most interesting and most enjoyable topic we had is our lesson during our third grading period and it is all about the WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER.

We had created our own movie and I really enjoyed it. We imported our pictures and our favorite music. I have encountered a problem during our activity. When I was doing it, I’ am importing my pictures through the use of the USB but when I removed it, all the pictures was gone and “X” appeared. I’ am so disappointed because I’ve waste my time making it because of what happened. So, I asked my classmates. They told me that I should save first my pictures in the computer so that the images would still appear after I removed the USB. Problem solved! When I finished my movie, I feel proud of myself. I’d loved it! It was so nice!

Moving on, I will not stop exploring different computer works and I will just do all the best that I can to make my activity is called “Job well done”!

THE WEB !

Wow! We are going farther in our lesson! We’ve learned more about the HTML and we made our own web page by group. We we’re given the chance to chose our own topic.

In relation to our activity, we apply our knowledge on HTML links. HTML links uses hyperlink to link to another document on the web. There are two kinds of html links, the anchor tag and the Href Attribute and the target attribute. The anchor tag is used to create a link to another document; it can point to any source on the web. While the target attribute can define where the document will be opened. We also tackled HTML Images for us to know how to put images in our web page. To be able to have an html images, there are tags to be use. The image tag a src tag, the alt attribute, the aligning images, and adjusting sizes of images. Another lesson that we’ve applied are the hyperlinks/hypertext. Hyperlinks creatively connect the different elements of a multimedia presentation using colored or underlined text or small pictures, called an ICON on which the user points the cursor and click on a mouse. Hypertext, in computer science, a collection of document that contains cross-reference called hyperlinks which allow the user to jump easily from one document to another.

I’ve learned so many. I’ve enjoyed doing our web page but I’m not satisfied with our work because we have given only a limited time to accomplish our work. Moving on, I will just continue what I have started and improve my work.

Well,another lesson was finished for the second semester.There are lot of activities done for this grading period.All I can say is that we are going to a higher learning as we come accros with our lesson in computer.

which defines the single break rule and horizontal rule.Lastly we also have encountered font attributes.Let me share to you this fact that making just only one mistake to your tags will affect the result of tour document in the internet explorer so be careful.
During our examination regarding those tags,I wrote h1 aligned="left".But this is wrong because of the word "aligned" thereshould be no "ed" that's why I got a low score.Its very disappointing but it's a lesson for me.I've learned! Now I know what are the things I should remember when making any activity.I should keep in mind the steps and the proper guidelines.
Moving on I will just do all my best in our compuyer subject.

I WILL...

I have learned a lot from our past lessons in our Computer subject.I've learned more about blogs, how to edit and on how to put different styles and designs to make it more beautiful.
During our first quarter examination.For me it was not so easy because I did not memorize the acronyms thats why I got low but, it's just okay.Perhaps It was still high but I'm expecting to get a higher score but unfornately not.However,Im still glad that I explore the world of blogging.After our first quarter examination we tuckled about the basic html tags and its function.With this I've already know how to display a document on the Internet Explorer.And as we go further my knowledge becomes wider.
Moving on I will strive harder and review my lessons so that during our examination I will get a higher grade.And I will do all the best that I can.

We Did It !

There are so many events happened for this past weeks in our school for the Nutrition Month Celebration.I joined the different contests , the oratorical contest, nutri-quiz,the nutri-jingle and for the first time we got a place in that particular contest.We garnered the second place.And the cheer dance competition which was happened in Mira Hills.And the most enjoyable part of the celebration was the Food Festival.

By that contest, I learned how to manage a simple business.But the day before the start

of the festival,we have not yet prepared the food or the product which we are going to sell,so we

rush to cook it at the canteen.Fortunately, we sold all our products .

And in addition to our computer subject,I have learned how to create a blog.The different search engines and the advantages of it for us students.Moving on, I will try to

make all things right so that in the end the result of my work will be better.

1. What are the new learnings/discoveries that I have learned?

- I have learned the history of internet and how it is started. I have discovered the use of it,the

Internet Services and Tools. My knowledge about internet become wider. Moreover, I have

also discovered different search terms and explore different search engines.

2. What are the problems/challenges that I have encountered?

- When our teacher gave us an assignment about the different search engines.When I made a

research on the Internet,I did not get the correct answer.Maybe I made a wrongsearch terms.

Another one was,when we had our first hands-on activity I got confused with the so many

answers appeared on the screen.

3. How did I address these challenges?

- I'd still passed the informations I have search.And about in our hands-on, we got the correct

answers because we typed the appropriate search terms.

- Moving on,I will do all my very best to solve all the challenges and problems which I will be

encounter.And try to understand and analyze our lessons in order to sharpen my knowledge

about internet.
